RepliPave® System   C O L O U R E D&T E X T U R E D Pattern Imprinted Concrete Paving - The Complete System   Firstly, prepare the site in the manner usual for concrete bay work. Prepare levels and place form work. The ready mixed concrete lorry arrives and specially prepared fibres are introduced into the blending drum. These fibres inhibit surface cracking of the concrete, once laid. Place the concrete and tamp using RepliPave® professional hand tools, bring the "fat" to the surface of the concrete and float level. These are specialised tools and are operated via boom handles, quickly and easily, from outside the bay. Just as the free surface water disappears, hand cast the specially formulated RepliPave® colour hardener over the concrete and float in, again using big, quick, high quality bull floats on boom handles. Test the curing stage of the concrete surface and when the surface is neither too malleable nor too set, hand cast the antiquing effect coloured RepliPave® release agent onto the bay. Now place the RepliPave® textured flexible imprinting tools onto the concrete and tamp down. The release agent allows the imprinting tools to be lifted without "pulling" the concrete and the tools leave their textured impression firmly and permanently moulded in the surface of the concrete. The final process is to wash off the cured printed concrete and when the surface is dry, apply the RepliPave® surface sealer which protects the colour and provides a lustrous finish.
